My final major project focused on providing an extension brand for the highstreet retailer Oliver Bonas, a new Girls Accessories range, for girls aged between 4-12 years. Initial primary and secondary research highlighted the demand for a different visual style in terms of girls accessories, stepping away from the predominantly feminine, pink and sparkly look that is currently on offer. Girls’ Accessories aims to provide mothers/guardians expressive, quirky and different accessory products. With a high focus on convenience, structuring store locations and ease for the consumer. Products should fit within Oliver Bonas’ recognisable, unique style alongside creating a fresh look for a girls brand.
By specialising in the marketing pathway, Oliver Bonas Girls Accessories really came to life, creating a strong business plan, with their consumers constantly in mind. Working ‘alongside’ an existing brand has allowed to me to structure my skills to suit them, following their rules and guidelines for the store/products offerings.
